В работе представлено критическое сравнение методологий исследований по фиксации температурных волн и их влиянию на население. Рассматриваются избранные работы, изданные за последние полтора века в России и за рубежом. Приводится авторская периодизация истории изучения вопроса. Рассматриваются структурные составляющие проблемы. Показано изменение фокуса внимания исследователей с метеорологии к эпидемиологии и выводам для социальной политики.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Temperature and weather anomalies pose a significant threat to public health and the economy. The paper presents a critical comparison of research methodologies on the fixation of temperature waves and their impact on the population. Selected works published over the last century and a half in Russia and abroad are considered. The author's periodization of the history of the study of the issue is given. The structural components of the problem are considered.
