<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Spatial factors have been a subject of economic research for almost two centuries. However, there is still no unified understanding of the relationship between spatial mechanisms and firms' economic performance. The purpose of this paper is to systematize the theory of the influence of spatial factors on the performance of economic organizations. The study reviews both classical and modern approaches and identifies three groups of spatial factors – natural, territorial, and micro-level. Based on a literature analysis, a framework of their interaction and a classification of performance indicators of economic organizations are proposed. The results help to generalize existing models and clarify the role of spatial characteristics in shaping firms' economic efficiency.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>пространственные факторы</kwd><kwd>экономические организации</kwd><kwd>агломерация</kwd><kwd>городская экономика</kwd><kwd>пространственное равновесие</kwd><kwd>результативность фирм</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>spatial factors</kwd><kwd>economic organizations</kwd><kwd>agglomeration</kwd><kwd>urban economics</kwd><kwd>spatial equilibrium</kwd><kwd>firm performance</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Ahlfeldt G.M. et al.
