Смертность взрослого населения России: Микроанализ (пер. М.Ю. Белецкая)

Аннотация
В данной статье исследуются основополагающие факторы смертности среди российского взрослого населения. Используемые данные позволяют учесть неоднородность условий жизни и поведения на уровне индивидов и домохозяйств. Мы применяем методы анализа дожития и используем 12 раундов Российского мониторинга экономического положения и здоровья населения, охватывающего 14-летний период. Исследование на микроданных подтверждает решающую роль чрезмерного потребления алкоголя в формировании рисков смертности среди взрослого населения в России. Сверх этого, мы находим эмпирическую поддержку важности относительного статуса индивида, измеряемого не по шкале доходов, в формировании риска смертности. Мы находим свидетельства влияния поведения на рынке труда, в частности отраслевой и профессиональной мобильности, на продолжительность жизни. Пагубная роль курения для здоровья оказывается сравнимой с ролью чрезмерного употребления алкоголя, что является новым для российского контекста, где влияние курения обычно преуменьшается по сравнению с алкоголизмом. Наконец, мы не находим в микроданных никаких свидетельств в поддержку положительной корреляции между низкими ценами на алкоголь и высокими показателями смертности, обнаруженной в данных регионального уровня недавним политэкономическим исследованием.
