The electronic scientific journal was created in 2009 by the employees of the Faculty of Economics, as a scientific journal presenting the achievements of modern economics and providing more opportunities than the existing journals in the faculty, both in terms of volume and form of presentation of scientific achievements .

It was originally planned to issue 2 issues annually. In 2014, the journal switched to the issue of 4 issues per year, since new requirements for journals included in the WAC list appeared. The Electronic Journal of the Faculty of Economics planned to be included in the list of VAK journals as one of the first goals.

Currently, the journal includes more than 20 sections of various economic orientations, which include scientific articles, discussion papers and round tables, reviews of publications.

Over the ten-year period of its existence, the journal has combined “under one cover” both the works of well-known Russian and foreign economists and the interesting works of young promising scientists.

The basic principle of the functioning of the Electronic Journal is accessibility, thanks to the free and unlimited number of users.

The Electronic Journal of the Faculty of Economics is an open access journal. All articles are made freely available to readers immediately upon publication.
