Аннотация
Данное исследование посвящено влиянию профессиональной специализации на карьерный рост внутри организации. Внутренний рынок труда создает условия, благоприятствующие специалистам широкого профиля (универсалам): снижение асимметрии информации о способностях работниках нивелирует роль внешних атрибутов, а разносторонний опыт дает необходимую широту знаний, взглядов и контактов, необходимых для успешного выполнения ролей в высшем звене управления. Кроме того, близость к ядру организации обеспечивает доступ к важной информации, а также видимость работника, что повышает его шансы на продвижение по службе. Комбинируя классические модели карьеры на внутреннем рынке труда с результатами современных исследований в области человеческого и социального капитала, автор предлагает оригинальную модель взаимосвязи вертикальной, горизонтальной и центростремительной мобильности персонала и демонстрирует механизмы, стоящие за различными карьерными траекториями.
